Parish Plan for St Kew – Have your say
What is a Parish Plan?
A parish plan documents the views of the local community. It will formally record the issues and concerns of the parish, allowing us to put together an action plan for the future. It will identify key facilities and services, problems, and characteristics and features distinctive to St Kew parish.
Why do we need one?
A parish plan will make sure local concerns are recorded and taken into account when key decisions are made. It will enable us to push for changes within NCDC and the new unitary authority that affect us, and will also greatly assist local groups when applying for grant funding, by providing documented proof of local need.
What’s in it for me?
A chance to have your say about what you like and dislike about where you live, and hopefully influence local policy making. Statistical evidence for your local community group when applying for grant funding
How can I get involved?
Join our group of interested people. Volunteer time to help at consultation events, collect questionnaires, input data or put together the final document. Donate your expertise and skills. Give us your views about the type of questions we need to be asking. If there is nothing specific at present, just give us your feedback.
What’s next?
Look out for more information in the Parish Magazine. Questionnaires will be sent to all households in the parish very soon, and a series of community consultations will be held at the same time. or
